DESCRIPTION_FULL="This gene set comprises 22 dendritic cell-related genes identified from WGCNA modules correlated with dendritic cell infiltration in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma cohorts. The genes were selected based on their association with overall survival and DC-related expression patterns. Using these genes, unsupervised consensus clustering stratified TCGA-PAAD patients into cluster 1 and cluster 2. The authors report that cluster 2 exhibited higher expression of DC-related genes and significantly poorer overall survival, whereas cluster 1 showed lower expression and better survival. These genes were further used to derive a dendritic cell-related risk score (DCRS). Patients with a high DCRS (corresponding to cluster 2) had significantly worse overall survival than those with a low DCRS (corresponding to cluster 1)."
