Brief description TC from (early atretic) follicle D and present in stromal samples were mainly present in CL2 and CL6 (Fig. 4a, Supplementary Fig. 2c), suggesting that those may represent atretic TC. The TC in CL2 and CL6 expressed IFITM3, lower levels of COL3A1 and higher levels of FOS and IGFBP5 compared to the TC in CL5 (Fig. 8a).
