Full description or abstract his gene set comprises Treg-associated prognostic genes whose expression characterizes the low-risk breast cancer cohort and a favorable clinical prognosis. These genes are significantly associated with leukocyte-mediated immunity, the NF-kappa B signaling pathway, and active immune response-regulating cell surface receptor signaling. The set reflects a tumor microenvironment with high levels of immune cell infiltration. Higher expression of these genes is predictive of a positive response to immune checkpoint inhibitors and increased sensitivity to chemotherapeutic agents such as cisplatin and paclitaxel.
