Human Gene Set: NFE2L2.V2

Standard name NFE2L2.V2
Systematic name M2870
Brief description Genes down-regulated in MEF cells (embryonic fibroblasts) after knockout of NFE2L2 [GeneID=4780] gene.
Full description or abstract The transcription factor NRF2 (NFE2L2), induces a cytoprotective response to oxidative stresses and its mutations confer constitutive activation in cancer. We generated a gene set representing activation of NFE2L2, as represented by genes downregulated by NFE2L2 knockout using the data from Malhotra et al. D, et al. Nucleic Acids Res. 2010;38:5718-5734.
