Mouse Gene Set: BIOCARTA_INSULIN_PATHWAY

For the Human gene set with the same name, see BIOCARTA_INSULIN_PATHWAY

Standard name BIOCARTA_INSULIN_PATHWAY
Systematic name MM1425
Brief description Insulin Signaling Pathway
Full description or abstract The appropriate signaling through the insulin pathway is critical for the regulation of glucose levels and the avoidance of diabetes. Insulin forms a complex with the Insulin Receptor (IR) and b chains to form the active signaling complex. Through recruitment of adaptor molecules and the activation of RAS, the activated IR can cause transcriptional activation.
